History) Born with two brothers, Ginta was no stranger to the idea of war. He grew up in a city made of pure gold, El Dorado, which was under constant siege from armies, bandits, and monsters. Due to this upbringing, Ginta has grown very powerful, having learned many odd abilities along the way. But one day, an attacking army was too strong for the city's forces. Seeing the inevitable defeat, Ginta swore his allegiance to the Darkside army with the condition that they leave his beloved home alone. His brother Ghaul followed in his footsteps, despite both of their hesitation, and both of them have always looked back.
"Man, I really miss El Dorado... The taverns, the casinos, the sweets and the fire works... Those were good times. I'm not saying that the Darksiders don't take care of me, but this life is too much work! How I would love to just go back home, lay on a rooftop, and watch the beautiful light of the sunset reflect off of the golden hue of the buildings..."
Although a recent recruit, Ginta has been recognized as an exceptionally strong warrior, with odd abilities that crippled his already puny opposition. It was not long before he became captain, and turned the position of General over to Ghaul, who not only would do a much better job but did not mind the work load. Due to his personality, he is liked by many; and due to his strength his is feared by all.
Personality) Lazy, goofy, and sugar driven are some descriptions that come to mind when one sees Ginta. His many addictions are as plentiful as his excuses as to why he cant get his job done. An avid gambler, when Ginta isn't laying on a hill watching the clouds or in his room eating sweets and playing video games, he can often be found in any tavern or casino, wasting his life away. Although he normally would object and avoid a fight at all costs, he sometimes gets very worked up and will fight more willingly and harder than usual. Likes sweets, relaxation, gambling, alcohol, fireworks, the circus, and video games. Dislikes work, having to do labor, work, being issued an order, work, and Vanitas.
Powers/Abilities) Ginta, aside from being very strong and having excellent swordplay, has the ability to curse himself and his opponents. These curses have varied effects; some weaken Ginta to weaken the enemy, some harm Ginta to strengthen himself, some weaken Ginta to weaken the enemy. Every curse also has the chance of locking up the afflicted, making them unable to move, unable to think, or unable to speak (never all at once however). These curses, however, are not Ginta's true power. His true power is the ability to forge pacts with those whom he's bonded with by reaching out to their heart, temporarily borrowing a fraction of their power (think like a mimic or copycat). The people he pacts with have to be either very close to him, or give him verbal permission before Ginta can connect to their heart and mimic their abilities. He can also create pacts with nature to call nimbus clouds or move foliage, although he cannot use this power offensively (nature should not be used to end life or cause direct harm). He has no idea he can use these powers yet...
